Baba also met individually with a few of his lovers that day (during the Hyderabad meeting).
Nana Kher told him, “I wish to stay with you.”
“Would you do as I tell you?” Baba asked.
“Assuredly!” was his quick reply.
“From tomorrow, start drinking two bottles of wine and eat two seers of mutton,” Baba ordered. “Would you do it?”
Although Nana, being a high Brahmin, had never touched wine or meat in his life, he agreed to obey. Baba then related to him, “I am very pleased with you, but continue to stay at your house, and never touch wine or mutton!”
